Creating Custom Prompts

  1. Open a Site's Settings
    1. In the left-hand sidebar, click Site.
    2. Click Settings.

  2. Open Prompts
  3. Click Create prompt
  4. Name the Prompt > Enter Instructions > Create Prompt
    1. In Prompt name, type a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Summarize in 3 bullets”).
    2. In Instructions, type exactly what you want the prompt to accomplish (e.g., “Summarize the selected text in 3 concise bullet points using plain language”).
    3. Assistant ID: An optional identifier that routes the prompt to a specific AI assistant. Vector database: A specialized database used to store and retrieve AI-embeddings for semantic search and retrieval.
    4. Click Create Prompt.

  5. Use the Prompt in Articles
    1. Open an article in ScreenSteps.
    2. Select or position your text as needed.
    3. Apply your new custom prompt from the AI tools where available.
