What Are Notification Subscriptions?
Notification subscriptions let you control which types of activity on which objects send you a notification email. You can subscribe to specific activity types at the Account, Site, Manual, Chapter, or Article level.

How Subscriptions Work Together
A single piece of content can generate notifications through more than one level at once. For example, an article's viewer feedback can trigger a notification through:
- A direct subscription on that article
- A subscription on the article's parent Manual or Chapter
- A Site-wide viewer feedback subscription
