How to Create New Content from the Beta Extension

Open the beta extension.
- Click your initial.
- Select Clarify Create.
Click Record Guide
Enter a title for your procedure
The more specific your procedure title is, the better the results will be.
Select the correct microphone
If prompted, allow microphone access.
Record your procedure
- Click Start Recording.
- Explain each step as you perform it.
- All clicks that are made while in the Chrome Browser are recorded
- Anything you say will be recorded and converted into text.
Finish and generate your guide
Generate the guide
This may take 30-90 seconds or more depending on how long your recording is.
Create an article
- Copy the content to paste elsewhere, or
- Click Create Article to add it directly to ScreenSteps.
If you click Create article you will be taken to your ScreenSteps library where you can further edit the article or publish it.
