How to Add Editing Permissions for a User to a Manual / Chapter / Article

Add Existing or Invite New User

  1. Click Settings
  2. Go to Permissions for that site
  3. Click Add user

     

  4. Add the user
    • If user exists: SelectExisting User.
    • If new user: ClickAdd User to invite them.
  5. Uncheck "Add to group" (unless you want group permissions).

Set Permission Level > Add Module (Required)

Assign Content Permissions

  1. Navigate to content
    1. ClickContent.
    2. Select the manual, chapter, or article.
  2. Add User
    1. ClickCustom.
    2. ClickAdd User.
  3. Select User > Permission Level > Add User
    • Select the user
    • Permission level: Review, Contribute, or Manage
